The 15th Scientific and Technical Committee of the Pelagos Agreement will be held on 11th and 12th September 2023 in Monaco (Auditorium Rainier III).

Entanglement is a major threat to marine mammals, and can cause injury or death. The training organized by the Pelagos Agreement in cooperation with the IWC and the Coast Guard - Maritime Directorate of Genoa, provided valuable knowledge and skills to participants on how to safely rescue and release entangled marine mammals.
