Exceptional encounters with sperm whales in the Pelagos Sanctuary

Exceptional watching of sperm whales characterised the end of summer in the waters of the Pelagos Sanctuary, particularly in the Ligurian and Corsican Seas!

The presence of families, including females with young and newborns, of sperm whales. The Pelagos Sanctuary, usually a feeding area, also seems to have become a new breeding ground for these large cetaceans at risk of extinction.
