Pelagos – MBPC Technical Workshop

the Secretariat of the Pelagos Agreement participated in the third edition of the Ocean Space Forum, organised in Monaco by the Princely Government, the French National Centre for Space Studies (CNES) and Prométhée Earth Intelligence.

The Permanent Secretariat is launching a call for consultants to evaluate the 2022–2026 Management Plan, prepare a Quality Status Report (QSR), and develop the next Management Plan for the Pelagos Agreement.

The Secretariat presented the Pelagos Sanctuary as a model of transboundary cooperation. It stressed that science-based governance and regional collaboration are essential for effective marine protection.
