Call for Consultants: Preparation of the Pelagos Agreement Management Plan 2028–2033 and Quality Status Report

The Pelagos Agreement is launching a call for consultants to evaluate its current Management Plan 2022–2027, prepare the Sanctuary’s Quality Status Report and draft the new Management Plan 2028–2033.

The call is open to individual experts and teams of up to three consultants.

Candidates should have an academic background and significant experience in marine biodiversity, particularly in marine mammal conservation, marine protected area management, Mediterranean environmental policies and relevant international agreements.

Proficiency in one of the Agreement’s two official languages—French or Italian—as well as the ability to work in the other language and in English are required.

Applications must include a CV, a cover letter, a methodological note and a detailed financial proposal. All documents must be submitted in both French and Italian.
