9th Meeting of the Parties of the Pelagos Agreement
The 9th Meeting of the Parties of the Pelagos Agreement (MOP9) was held on 25 & 26 January 2024 in Nice and was chaired by the Ambassador Olivier Poivre d’Arvor, Chair of the Meeting of the Party for the biennium 2024-2025.
The meeting which was opened by the Deputy Mayor of Nice, Dr. Richard Chemla and Admiral Biodevezi of the Maritime Prefecture, was the opportunity to present the activities carried out in the biennium 2022-2023, including, among others, the revision of the Agreement’s Internal Regulations, the revision of the Pelagos Partnership Charter, a new collaboration with the RAMOGE Agreement, the new Pelagos web site, etc..
Finally, the Meeting discussed and approuved the Programme of Work for the biennium 2024-2025 and the budget to support the carrying out of these activities.
